Conferences & Workshops

Part of the Coastal Centre's mandate is to help improve the people's understanding of Lake Huron's coast in order to motivate positive change in the way that we care for our coastal ecosystems.  The Centre regularly hosts workshops and conferences to bring concerned people together to learn about current and emerging issues.

Our premier conference - "Is the Coast Clear?" - is a biennial event held on even years.  The Centre moves the location of this conference to different communities along the coast.  It has been hosted in Port Elgin (2x), Goderich, Grand Bend (2x) and Port Franks.
